I’m glad all the liberals were right…

by Kyle Smith

Well our fearless leader has been in office for a little while now and thankfully he’s proving all the liberals right. I was reading an article online from the Houston Chronicle about one of Obama’s latest appointees having a slight tax issue. Of course after reading the article I went straight to the comments, which just happens to be the best part about reading the newspaper online. The first comment I came across sums it up best so I’m going to just copy/paste their response to insure that nothing is lost in translation…

OK, I have to admit it. My liberal friends were right. I should have listened.
They told me if I voted for McCain, the nation’s hope would deteriorate, and sure enough there has been a 20 point drop in the Consumer Confidence Index since the election, reaching a lower point than any time during the Bush administration.
They told me if I voted for McCain, the US would become more deeply embroiled in the Middle East, and sure enough tens of thousands of additional troops are scheduled to be deployed into Afghanistan.
They told me if I voted for McCain, that the economy would get worse and sure enough unemployment is approaching 8.8%, and the new stimulus packages implemented recently have sent the stock market lower than at any time since 9-11.
They told me if I voted for McCain, we would see more “crooks” in high ranking positions in Federal government, and sure enough, several recent cabinet nominees and Senate appointments revealed resumes of bribery and tax fraud.
Well I ignored my Democrat friends in November and voted for McCain. And they were right… all of their predictions have come true.

WOW! As GeezerChron would say, “Man I love the smell of gun powder in the morning!” You know, I think it’s really funny how so many were screaming about the war and how we should stop all war efforts immediately. Now Obama is saying that the real war is in Afghanistan and we need more troops and the libbys are jumping for joy…really? So it’s not really the issue of war, peace, death or money. The real issue is who comes up with it… freakin’ liberals are floppin’ around like fish out of water. And the media is just sitting there twiddling their thumbs. If McCain were in office, the economy would solely be his fault, the war in Afghanistan would be morally wrong and a detriment to our country, and Lil’ Rounds wouldn’t have made it this far on American Idol…just sayin..
